Paris 2024: Tennis stars donate their equipment to the Olympic Museum

Tennis fans have something to look forward to on their next visit to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. Seven athletes who took part in the singles competition played on the clay court of Roland-Garros have agreed to give up their equipment. On the women’s side, we find gold medalist Qinwen Zheng (Chn), as well as world number 1 and bronze medalist Iga Swiatek (Pol). Both signed and donated their equipment in the finals.

On the men’s side, we found Novak Djokovic (Ser), gold medalist Carlos Alcaraz (Esp), as well as Rafael Nadal (Esp), Andy Murray (Gbr) and Stefanos Tsitsipás (Gre). The donations from all these great athletes join the Museum’s collections which already include the equipment of Roger Federer (Sui), Naomi Osaka (Jap), Elina Svitolina (Ukr) and Martina Hingis (Sui) on the show.
