This Monday, the Organizing Committee for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games launched a recruitment campaign. This is aimed at students looking for a work-study program.
If you dream of being part of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Organizing Committee and are looking for a work-study program for the next school year, you can register at “Qualifying tournament for the alternation“launched on Monday by the organizers. 80 work-study positions are to be filled between March 28 and June 6.
These offers are forprincipally” to students between the third year of the license and the Master 2, explains Agnes of Saint-CeranExecutive Director of Human Resources for Paris 2024.
The jobs offered are diverse. “We are looking for a wide variety of profiles. Among other things, we have positions for engineers, architects or even project managers andevents“, explains Chantal Lasnier, Talent and Diversity Manager of the Committee.
The missions will all take place at the headquarters of the Organizing Committee located in Saint-Denis. “It was important for us that these offers be accessible to regional stage“, she assures. And to continue: “Although the basic contracts last one year, we hope that most of the profiles recruited can be part of our team until 2024.“.
Recruitment organizers hear “focus on candidate skills” instead of focusing on resumes and cover letters. Recruiters will not have access to these documents during interviews. “We will put the applicants in situations that they might encounter once on the job in order to test their ability to adapt. The aim will be to assess their ability to take initiatives and manage situations of uncertainty.“, explains the executive director of human resources.
After registering on an online recruitment platformthe candidates will have to answer a questionnaire in order to show their motivation. Once selected, they will participate in a webinar to test their knowledge of the Olympic Games.
Organizers hope to grow from 750 people today to 4,000 by 2024.
The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
