Parigo-What extensions for the Paris metro?

At the end of May, line 12 will be extended to Aubervilliers, a few months later line 4 to Bagneux and line 14 to Saint-Ouen. And after ? What extensions for the historic metro? Parigo takes stock of the current projects and the expected extensions.

The extension of the 11, these are 6 new stations supposed to benefit nearly 85,000 people who are currently deprived of the metro. 6 years after the start of the work, the site is nearing completion. The proof: the first copies of the future 5-car trainsets have just been delivered.

Further south, the automatic line 14 is spreading its wings, with one objective: to be put into service just before the 2024 Olympic Games. The tunnel has been drilled, the tracks have been laid, so can we already cry victoire ? We see this with our first guest Stéphane Garreau, director of the extension of line 14 at the RATP, in the heart of the future Pont de Rungis station.

Finally, let’s consider the advisability of extending line 10 towards Ivry-sur-Seine then Vitry-sur-Seine. Proponents of the project want to believe in a commissioning from 2030. The president of the Grande 10, Clément Pecqueux, is our guest.
