‘Parents hide son’s body in freezer for two years’ Abroad

Kassceen Weaver, 49, and his wife, Dina D. Weaver, 48, have been arrested on charges of “hiding and leaving a body” and “failing to assist a child in need” after the body of 5-year-old Eliel Adon Weaver was found in the freezer.

Police tracked down the case after receiving a tip about the gruesome case. It is not known how long the boy’s body was in the freezer. But preliminary investigations show that the boy died somewhere between two and five years ago. So the body has been in the freezer for at least two years, according to television station WRIC. It is also not yet known whether the boy died as a result of a crime.

“I’ve never seen anything like it,” said Chesterfield Police’s Mike Louth, “it’s a heartbreaking affair.”

Kasscene and Dina are due to appear in court on August 5.
