At the end of November, the GGD organized two interactive evenings for parents at Elzendaal College, Metameer and Pro College. These have been very positively received by parents and schools. In addition to Helder Theater’s recognizable hilarious parent-child sketches, the contribution of pediatrician Harmen Haanstra was also judged very valuable. Giulieta Nalbandyan from the GGD and Mathijs de Croon from Novadic-Kentron provided insight into the adolescent brain, the risks of alcohol and drugs and, of course, (parenting) advice for parents.
The Check it Out project is a collaboration between the Municipality of Land van Cuijk, the participating schools, Novadic Kentron, Helder Theater, Youth Work and GGD Hart voor Brabant.
