Turin Juventus, most likely, will not redeem the 2022 world champion Argentine midfielder Leandro Paredes from the French PSG for 22 million euros, according to Relevo.
The Turin club was obliged to redeem Paredes only if Juventus reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League (the Italian club had already left the tournament and plays in the Europa League), or if Paredes reached certain individual indicators.
Juventus do not want to keep the player because of his high salary. The Argentine will have to return to PSG, but they also don’t want to leave him there and will put him on the transfer.
