Paramount Global Celebrates Star Trek Day with Special Program Featuring Jerry O’Connell as Commander Jack Ransom

For September 8th, Paramount Global has once again put together a special program to mark Star Trek Day – the day is intended to celebrate the anniversary of the series premiere of “Star Trek” (aka “Starship Enterprise”) on US television on NBC in 1966.

This year marks the 57th anniversary of the event. This is to be commemorated in a special program that can be streamed worldwide, led by actor Jerry O’Connell – who in the English version of “Star Trek: Lower Decks” is the first officer of the USS Ceritos speaks, Commander Jack Ransom. O’Connell is also the husband of Rebecca Romijn, Una from “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”.

At the same time, the “Star Trek Day” streaming event is intended to celebrate the 50-year history of animated “Star Trek” stories – including a clip from the fourth season of “Star Trek: Lower Decks”, which starts on September 7th. .
