After 10 seconds of racing, Barlaam started a progression that first reabsorbed Solberg, then distanced the rest of his opponents with world record strokes: he lowered his own limit by 6 hundredths. He showed his muscles to the Defense Arena crowd, in an atmosphere that had nothing to envy of the Olympic days.
Bicelli Gold in 400 Freestyle, Ghiretti Wins 100 Breaststroke

Manuel Bortuzzo won the bronze medal in the 100 breaststroke SB4. The Italian finished with a time of 1’42″52, defending himself from Nicolas Rivero’s attack.
