The alliance, in force since 2018, resulted in 59% of exports mainly to Europe and Asia, thus allowing Paraguayan MSMEs to conquer the markets of Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Croatia, Taiwan and others. Among the main exported items are handicrafts, textiles and leather.
There are three direct assistance to MSMEs with export potential, a preferential rate for those who have a Mipymes ID, it is a direct benefit to those who are committed to working formally. In this process, the Mipymes certificate is the indicator that demonstrates the willingness of the company to advance in its formalization process, and above all to achieve the internationalization of the firm.
Personalized advice and training on international trade are also offered, which have covered various topics, including: How to calculate the costs of your products in the international market, international treaties, how to enter an international market and others.
As part of the services provided through the General Directorate of Information and Internationalization of the Vice Ministry of Mipymes of the MIC, and external allies, it seeks to promote companies that are prepared to enter the markets.
The agreement was made in order to make the DHL Bootcamp program available to MSMEs, which seeks to capture and retain startups and exporting SMEs from Paraguay, through knowledge, financing and a “can do it” philosophy.
This is an initiative carried out in 15 countries in the region, where various topics are addressed: international trade, e-commerce, digital platforms, entrepreneurship + Women Entrepreneurs, trends, digital marketing and logistics, among others.
