The fall occurred during takeoff. On Friday July 29, 2022, shortly before 5 p.m., a 49-year-old woman was the victim of a paragliding accident at Likeabout ten kilometers from Bayeux (Calvados). Blocked below the cliff, the victim had to be airlifted by the Dragon 50 civil security helicopter.
Open fracture
She suffers from an open fracture in the ankle but her life would not be in danger. Placed at the top of the cliff, it was transported by road to the Bayeux hospital center.
This is the second accident of this type in less than fifteen days. The 14th of July, a paraglider had also fallen at the foot of the cliffs, in the same place.
