“Parade”, the official anthem of the Olympic and Paralympic Games composed by Victor Le Masne, will soon be available on streaming platforms such as Spotify and Deezer. Paris 2024 ceremonies director Thierry Reboul brought forward the date of September 13 to “Ouest-France”.
Against the emptiness and the lack of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, it will soon be possible to listen to the official anthem on repeat. “Parade”, the music composed by Victor Le Masne, resounded in all the competition sites at each medal ceremony, and again on Sunday evening at the Stade de France for the closing ceremony of the Paralympics. It will be available on September 13 on streaming platforms, announced this Monday at West France Paris 2024 ceremonies director Thierry Reboul.
“This is the good news of the week!”he rejoices in the columns of the daily newspaper. He specified that the “official launch” would be made on Saturday on the occasion of the athletes’ parade planned on the Champs-Elysées. The album will be “for the future”added Thierry Reboul.
Victor Le Masne, 42, musical director of the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, had unveiled his piece in May at the arrival of the Olympic flame in the port of Marseille aboard the three-masted Belem. The song starts with a light, pop tune, with violins, then builds up with a symphony orchestra, moves to an epic register with choirs, to become an electro loop typical of the French Touch, with a festive coloring.
