Frankfurt am Main. Since the 1970s, Christopher Street Day (CSD) has stood for the fight for the rights of the LGBTQIA+ community worldwide. This tradition is also alive and well in Frankfurt. Next weekend, the streets of the city will once again be transformed into a colorful sea of acceptance – hopefully in good weather. When is the CSD in Frankfurt am Main 2024?
This year, Christopher Street Day in Frankfurt am Main will take place from 8 to 11 August In recent years, the CSD has been held in July. The reason for the later date was the 2024 European Football Championship in Germany.

What is the motto of the CSD Frankfurt 2024?
The motto of the CSD Frankfurt 2024 is: “We are extremely – loving!”
The intention behind the motto is to stand up against the growing anti-queer sentiment and discrimination fueled by right-wing and hateful narratives. With the motto, the CSD Frankfurt wants to send a strong message and emphasize the colorful, diverse and proud identity of the LGBTQIA+ community.
This is to underline that despite all attacks and prejudices, the community continues to fight for acceptance and equality with love and pride.
CSD Frankfurt facing financial problems – how can I donate?
The economic circumstances of the past few years and the loss of monetary support pose challenges for the association. These financial hurdles threaten the holding of the event, which is why the association is asking for donations in order to be able to continue organizing the CSD.
