In an interview with Belgian media Walfoot, Papiss Demba Cissé declares that he aims to help young Senegalese talents achieve their dreams of becoming professionals.
Cissé wants to open a football academy
Like his compatriot Sadio Mané, who often works in the social sector, Papiss Cissé also knows where he comes from and wants to help the youngest.

“I have a project that is close to my heart, to set up an Academy in Senegal. I have already bought the land and all the materials, it only remains to build. Help young people to make their dreams come true and give them a chance to become a pro player. To be able to provide them with good infrastructure as in Europe. When we were young, we played in the street with sometimes deflated balloons. It’s not always easy, so I try to give back what football has given me ”, said Papiss Cissé.
