Paper Week 2024 in Salerno, initiatives scheduled for tomorrow 11 April

The appointments continue Paper Weekthe great choral training and information campaign on paper and cardboard and their recycling promoted by ComecoNational Consortium for the Recovery and Recycling of cellulosic packaging, in collaboration with Paper and Graphics Federation e Unirima and with the patronage of ANCI, Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security, Utilitalia e Rai for Sustainability.

The city of Salernoelected this year “Capital of Paper Recycling” as the hub of the southern “paper district” and a virtuous model for the separate collection of cellulosic packaging in the South, is the protagonist of Paper Week 2024 with a special schedule – organized by Comieco with the patronage of Municipality of Salerno, Confindustria Salerno, Salerno Chamber of Commerce, Carisal Foundation, University of Salernoin collaboration with Clean Salerno, Salerno Literature e CNA Salerno.

Final appointment/show of an environmental education educational workshop aimed at pupils in the fourth and fifth classes of primary school.
“Play your card” is a special educational project of music-environmental education created according to the indications of the Greenopoli method of prof. Giovanni De Feo and the “Orff-Schulwerk” method for musical education. Music is the protagonist of the campaign aimed at pupils in the fourth and fifth classes of the Salerno primary school who were offered the workshop activity in the form of rap, inviting the students to “play their card”, in fact, and do their part to protect the environment, taking an active role in the separate collection of paper and cardboard packaging with a view to the circular economy. The raps learned in class will be presented publicly by the students on Thursday 11 April (9.30 am) at the Augusteo Theater during a collective morning dedicated to environmental education with the presence of all the participating classes of the 8 institutes that have joined (IC Monterisi , IC San Tommaso d’Aquino, Istituto Smaldone, IC Alfano Quasimodo, IC Medaglie d’Oro, IC Vicinanza, IC G. Barra).

As part of RicicloAperto, special visit to the AGECO Sud srl recovery plant in Salerno with institutional and Comieco representatives.
RicicloAperto is the historic event organized by Comieco which offers the opportunity – mainly to school groups – to visit one of over 100 places throughout Italy, including thematic museums, but above all paper mills, paper converting companies and recovery plants that work synergistically every day together with Comieco to give new life to correctly differentiated paper, cardboard and cardboard.
Eight plants are participating in Campania where around 1,500 students are expected: the Cartesar Spa paper mill in Pellezzano (SA), the Paper Museum of Amalfi (SA), the Antonio Sada & fili SpA paper processing company in Sant’Antonio di Pontecagnano (SA) and Italpack Cartons srl in Lacedonia (AV), the Ageco Sud Srl recovery plants in Salerno, Eco Sistem S.Felica srl ​​in Nola (NA), Irpinia Recuperi srl in Atripalda (AV), Langella Mario srl in Volla (NA).
