Paolo Guerrero revealed one of the fundamental reasons why he does not want to play for the César Vallejo de Trujillo club. Although the main reason is the threats that his mother has received since his signing to the “poets” team was announced, the opinion of his wife, the Brazilian model Ana Paula Consorte, had a determining weight.

In statements to Panamericana Television, the national attacker indicated that his partner does not want to come to Peru after learning that “Doña Peta” was receiving extortionate messages from criminal gangs.

“Precisely, to Mr. Richard Acuña, since February 2nd when we signed the contract and the threats began, I told him very clearly that I do not want it to reach my wife’s ears, because that would be fatal (…) that is why it was the determination and my confirmation that I was not going to fulfill my contract and it is because my wife does not want to go,” said the “Predator.”

Guerrero would not have formally presented the request to terminate his contract with the César Vallejo University, a fact for which the procedures to be released would not have begun. Even so, the former captain of the national team considered that the club president, Richard Acuña, “is delaying time and cannot find a club.”

For this reason, he stated that if the Trujillo club does not terminate its contract with him, he will be forced to end his football career.
