Emergency operation for Paola Perego. The TV presenter underwent a partial nephrectomy (removal of a part of the kidney) for a tumor fortunately discovered in an early stage. It was Perego herself who made the matter known in an Instagram post in which she wanted to thank the professor. Gallucci and his team, who operated on her, and underlined once again the importance of prevention. Many friends, colleagues and simple fans responded to the post, wishing her well.

In the post, Paola Perego wanted to put a photo of her hospital bed, in which only an IV can be seen. Recovery times are not yet known but a few days of convalescence will certainly be necessary to fully recover his form.
