Despite the many changes in the starting line-up and his disappointment at being excluded from the continuation of the Champions League, the champion PAOK beat Toumba 3-2 against Panserraikos and started the Super League championship victoriously.
PAOK was in control but Panserraikos threatened to counterattack. The phases were minimal in the first half hour, but immediately after the match, he caught fire with two penalties in five minutes! In the 57th minute, Soares hit the post of Serrai and in the 60th minute, Fotias pointed out another penalty after Tsalof’s overthrow. Schwab executed it again and made it 3-2.
In the 67th minute, Gugesashvili first saved Murg’s shot and in the second he had an answer to Chalov’s header from contact.
The referee Fotias showed yellow cards to Betancourt, Petavrakis, Liassos.
