In a very relaxed tempo, PAOK made it two out of two in the 2nd matchday of the Super League by relatively easily defeating Panaitolikos 2-0.
PAOK had the upper hand in the first half, but after 20′ they were sluggish in their game, something that Panaitolikos almost took advantage of, who missed two very good opportunities to open the scoring in the three minutes 30′-32′, initially with Kotarski saves Bouzoukis’ shot with a double lunge and shortly after an individual effort and a shot by Dias, the ball went just wide.
In the second half, PAOK became more intense and in the 51st minute they opened the scoring with a header by Sastre from a nice effort by Kamara and a cross by Despodov to the scorer. Chaves saved twice in a shot by Despodov, but in the 79th minute from his cross Zifkovic Tisundali made it 2-0 with a strong shot from the side.
