Only in the 10th minute, Malmo surprised the “double-header: After a side-out, Jansson took the header, the ball burst into the area and Nanasi with another header from close range beat Kotarski for 0-1. The exact same scenario was repeated at 105’+3′ again with the winner being the goalkeeper of the “two-headed” who saved in the terrible defensive gaps of his team.
In the 2nd part of extra time, while PAOK seemed to have run out of strength, Malmo continued to miss opportunities and in the 108th minute, Jonsen’s volley hit the crossbar.
