The Pannonia Scholarship Program helps young talents
According to the minister’s presentation, during his presentation at the conference, he summarized all the successes that have been achieved in recent years for the benefit of young people living in the countryside. Among them, Balázs Hankó highlighted the modernization of higher education and vocational training and their practical focus. He emphasized that
today, every second young Hungarian starts their studies at a rural university, and thanks to the changed regulations, incentives and financing in recent years, there are also seven rural universities where it is possible to increase youth retention.
Balázs Hankó believes that 150 percent more people from poor regions are admitted to universities in Hungary compared to the past as a definite step forward.
