After the shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, a climate of fear reigns in the United States. As proof: these images posted on social networks, which show a movement of panic that took place Tuesday evening in Times Square.
Around 10 p.m., thousands of people in this New York neighborhood started running screaming, thinking a shooting had broken out, reports CBS New York. However, the noise they had heard was nothing other than the backfiring of a motorcycle.
In a few seconds, the place emptied and people took refuge in shops. Several pedestrians were reportedly injured during the panic movement. The authorities specify, however, that there are no serious injuries to deplore.
