According to “AFAD”, two earthquakes measuring 6.4 and 5.8 on the Richter scale struck Hatay province yesterday evening, and buildings collapsed in several cities.
While the tremors were felt in Greece, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Syria and Cyprus.
These two earthquakes came while the affected area, which was hit by a stronger earthquake at dawn on the sixth of this month, is still healing its wounds and removing rubble and corpses, and amid warnings of the collapse of more buildings that were severely cracked as a result of the first disaster that claimed more than 46,000 lives in southern Turkey and northern Syria.
