The cantonal cantonal police explained Thursday their will to adapt “continuously to the current situation”, on the front of the Covid-19. Latest innovation: hire an equestrian brigade to ensure compliance with protective measures!
“The use of horses by the police will facilitate controls in the countryside,” said the cantonal cantonal police. Two uniformed policewomen will crisscross the potentially busiest tourist spots. Their mission: to prevent the regrouping of more than five people, prohibited by the Confederation.
“Everyone is invited, with the coming sunny weekend, not to relax their vigilance and to continue to observe the rules allowing to stop the virus,” recommends the police.

Going out for air is possible as long as you strictly respect the protection rules, starting with the social distance (min. 2 meters between people). “It is better to go for a walk near where you live,” said the Jura police. that “taking your vehicle to get some fresh air in a potentially popular natural site should be avoided”.
The Jura police will intervene both in holiday resorts and on the road network. The infringements noted will be penalized.
