Located in a coffee shop in Pancur Cave, Jimbaran Village, Kayen District, Pati Regency, Central Java. Thursday, January 19 2023, an FGD was held between Dinporapar Pati, Pancur Cave Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and Kiosk Tenants in the Pancur Cave area.

On this occasion, all parties discussed and shared stories about ups and downs and what the kiosk tenants had experienced, especially after this pandemic.

The Head of Dinporapar Pati, represented by the Secretary, Endah Murwaningrum explained “It is undeniable, the impact of yesterday’s pandemic has devastated the tourism sector, moreover the floods that paralyzed Pati in the southern region have also made the situation worse. This of course makes everyone concerned, including the tenants of the stalls at Pancur Cave. But, on the bright side, kiosk tenants and Pokdarwis are getting more compact and solid. They will actively promote through online media, carry out voluntary work in visitor areas on a regular basis, relocate street vendors to make them more organized, and regulate parking,” he explained.

At Pancur Cave, we can do activities such as exploring the cave, riding a water duck boat at the pond, or borrowing a room/hall for meetings. With affordable prices, we can enjoy the beauty of Pancur Cave as an alternative to Pati local tourism.
