Pancasila Youth Plans Another Demo, Police Give This Condition

JAKARTA, KOMPAS. TV Responding to information that the Pemuda Pancasila (PP) community organization (ormas) was demonstrating again, the Polda Metro Jaya warned that all forms of public expression of opinion must adhere to the applicable rules.

Mass organizations, including the PP in them are also reminded not to act anarchistically.

“As long as it is not anarchic and brutal, does not violate the rules, the National Police will secure it,” said Head of Public Relations of the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Pol. Endra Zulpan, Friday (11/26/2021), as quoted from Kompas.com.

This was said by Endra when he received information that the Pancasila Youth Organization would again hold demonstrations.

As reported KOMPAS.TV Previously, during a demonstration in front of the DPR Building, Thursday (25/11) yesterday, the PP mobs beat the Head of the Ops Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Dermawan Karosekali. At that time, AKBO Dermawan was known to be at the scene as part of his task of securing the demonstration carried out by Pemuda Pancasila.

As a result of the beating, Dermawan had to get intensive treatment at the hospital.

After the incident, the police moved quickly and arrested 21 people, including 15 of them as suspects.

Endra stressed that the presentation of opinions in public is the right of citizens. Protests are also protected by law.
