Panathinaikos had won the first semi-final in Toumba (1-0), but in the second leg they found themselves with their backs against the wall. They were down 1-0 in the 90th minute, conceded a second goal in overtime, however Limnios led the match to the penalty shootout. In it, Dragovski saved three penalties and led the greens to the final.

The 90th minute and extra time

The first big chance of the semi-final was lost in the 14th minute. Živkovic crossed from the right, Schwab unmarked caught a powerful header – fishy with Dragovski clearing the danger. In the 86th minute, Dikefalos scored the second goal. Constantelias produced a great pass to Ozdoev, but he missed from the height of the box.

The match went to extra time and in the 103′ shot by Constantelia, he went out. In the stoppage time of the first overtime, Despontov took a corner and Keziora made it 0-2 with a header.

Injury Baba

**The other semi-final between Aris and Panaitolikos will be held on March 6 with Akis Manziou’s team having won 1-0 in Agrinio and taking the lead. The final is scheduled for May 18, with the venue yet to be decided.
