The English footballer George Baldock, of Greece’s Panathinaikos, found dead today at his home in Athens, Greek radio station SKAI reported.
The lifeless body of the 31-year-old defender was found in the pool of his house, located in the Glyfada neighborhood of the Greek capital, according to what was reported by the same source.
Until now The cause of his death is unknown and for now there is no official statement by the Greek club or his family.
Born in Buckingham, England, Baldock was an international with the Greek national team, since one of his grandfathers was Greek, so he had the right to wear the shirt of this country.
He began his career in the youth ranks of Milton Keyne Dons and was a footballer for English club Sheffield United since 2017. until last May, when he was signed by Panathinaikos.
