Panasonic has introduced a secure Android tablet, the Toughbook A3, so that there is a choice between a secure laptop (Panasonic also makes such a laptop) and a tablet. The device is intended primarily for military, emergency services and warehouse staff, but no one prohibits the purchase of such for personal use.
The tablet will receive a 10.1-inch WUXGA display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels and a brightness of 500 nits (800 nits at the peak), an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory, as well as a microSD card slot . The main camera is 8 megapixels, the front camera is 5 megapixels.

Go to the device chips. There are five programmable keys on the case; you can schedule the launch of any programs, for example. The tablet has two batteries, one of which can be quickly replaced. Also in the case there is an xPak area for installing a barcode scanner or any other module that the customer needs.
In the basic version, two batteries with a capacity of 3200 mAh each are installed, but you can buy batteries of a much larger capacity – 5800 mAh.
The tablet is protected from dust and moisture according to the IP65 standard, and there is also protection according to the US military standard MIL-STD-810 – withstands a drop from a height of almost two meters. By the way, the touch screen continues to work in the rain.
The Panasonic Toughbook A3 will go on sale in August. The price tag for the basic version in the UK is 1,182 pounds or 1,466 dollars.
