DUNAJSKÁ STREDA – Panamanian footballer Cesar Blackman is leaving FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda. The full back, who came to Žitný ostrov in September 2017, did not accept the offer of the Fortunaliga vice-champion to extend the cooperation. DAC reported about it on its website.
Twenty-five-year-old Blackman scored 108 starts and three goals in the Fortuna League in the DAC jersey, and played in another 13 matches in the European Cups.
“After many months of talks and negotiations with Cesar and his new agent, we decided to withdraw our offer to extend the cooperation. We offered him very fair, even above-standard conditions for our standards. However, from the player’s side, we feel that DAC has become the last choice for him .
Considering the fact that we treated Cesar like a son at the club, his behavior during negotiations is not worthy of our club. Therefore, we have decided to end negotiations and withdraw our offer. We thank Cesar for his services to our club and wish him success in his future career.” stated Jan Van Daele, sports director of the DAC.
