Panama Women’s Soccer: Lineth Cedeño’s Absence and Squad Announcement for Friendlies Against Colombia

Panama City, Jun 14 (EFE).- The absence of Lineth Cedeño, author of the goal that qualified the Panama women’s team to the Australia-New Zealand World Cup, marked the call for 23 players announced this Wednesday by the coach Ignacio “Nacho Quintana to face Colombia in two friendlies.

In the call of the Mexican coach, the absence of Lineth Cedeño, former player of the Italian Sampdoria and author of the goal that gave Panama the ticket to Australia-New Zealand 2023, stands out.

Also noteworthy is the return of goalkeeper Yenith Bailey, a regular in the goal of the Panamanian team, and the call of veteran player Laurie Batista.

Also the presence of the Sporting San Miguelito players Meredit Rosas, Dayane Madrid, Ana Quintero and Carmen Montenegro, and Giana Hall from the University of North Dakota.
