The process to obtain these permits will begin on Wednesday, November 13 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
The Mayor’s Office of Panama will grant 250 temporary permits, valid between December 1, 2024 and January 6, 2025 in different parks and areas assigned by the Municipality.
The initiative aims to support entrepreneurs and small merchants in the district of Panama during the end-of-year holidays and the permits will be distributed among micro-entrepreneurs who sell dry, non-flammable edible and flammable edible merchandise, the Mayor’s Office explained in a statement.
The process to obtain these permits will begin this November 13 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Interested persons must pick up the requirements forms at the Mayor’s Office of Microenterprises, located in the Las Américas Building in the Calidonia district and the reception of documents will take place on Friday, November 15 at the one-stop shop in the Hatillo Building.
To request the permit, interested parties must present a note addressed to Mayor Mayer Mizrachi with their complete information and attach a photocopy of the ID card, copies of the food and beverage handling cards issued by the Ministry of Health.
In addition, for municipal peace and safe, payment receipt corresponding to the Municipality of Panama, Ministry of Health, Cleaning Directorate and the Benemérito Fire Department.
