Frame Ummah Party initials RH set to terrorist suspect by Densus 88. PAN supports the legal process against anyone who wants to change the ideology of Pancasila.
“PAN is of the opinion that anyone who wants to replace Pancasila as the ideology and philosophy of the state with another ideology and wants to change the national state in the form of a republic in a democratic government system with another form and system is an enemy of the state. Therefore, it must be processed according to the applicable law, “said Deputy PAN Viva Yoga to reporters, Monday (14/2/2022).
PAN, said Viva, supports the work of Densus 88. PAN supports Densus 88 in dealing with all kinds of threats and disturbances from acts of terrorism.
“PAN supports the work and professionalism of Densus 88 (ATA, Anti-Terrorism Act) in protecting the sovereignty of the Republic of Indonesia from terrorist elements or groups. Densus 88 Anti-terror is designed as an anti-terrorism unit that has the ability to deal with terrorist disturbances, from bomb threats, hostage-taking, to threats violence,” he said.
“The function of Densus 88 Anti-terror is to examine reports of terror activity in the area, to make arrests of personnel or a person or group of people who are confirmed to be members of a terrorist network that can endanger the integrity and security of the Republic of Indonesia,” said Viva.
Previously, the National Police Anti-terror Detachment 88 arrested one of the terrorist suspects who was a lecturer in Bengkulu with the initials RH. RH is a cadre of the Ummat Party.
“We are concerned about the condition of our cadres,” said General Secretary of the Bengkulu Province DPW Ummat Party Noca Alamsyah when contacted, Sunday (13/2/2022).
Noca said the Bengkulu Province DPW Ummat Party had not deactivated RH as a cadre. The reason is, his party is still waiting for legal certainty and a study from the Ummat Party DPP.
“But we do not immediately deactivate RH. Because we are still waiting for its legal status and we are still waiting for a review from the party’s DPP,” he said.
Noca said that the Ummat Party was also ready to provide legal assistance to RH. He said that RH never showed signs of being a terrorist, including in his lectures.
RH is a member of the Party Advisory Council in the Ummat Party DPW. According to Noca, everything that RH does looks natural and normal.
“RH is the Party Advisory Council. In essence, we have not yet made a decision. What is clear, because RH is a Party cadre, we will be ready to help RH,” added Noca.
PAN was also surprised that a cadre of the Ummat Party was named a terrorism suspect. PAN said the legal process would be the proof.
“I’m personally surprised that there are indications of the Ummat Party management or involvement in a terrorist network. But in my opinion, later let the legal process answer this,” said Viva.
