TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – After the National Mandate Party (PAN) and the Golkar Party expressed their support for the Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election, now volunteer Gibran Rakabuming Raka who is a member of the Bolone Mase Volunteers (RBM) has joined the defense minister’s camp. Strong RBM National Coordinator Hermawan Santoso explained the reason that prompted his volunteer organization to provide support was because he believed Prabowo to be a figure who would definitely continue President Joko Widodo’s or Jokowi’s program.
Strong said that his party had carried out internal consolidation and compared Prabowo with the other two presidential candidates.
“Prabowo Subianto is the only figure who is certain to continue Jokowi’s programs if he is elected later,” Strong said in his statement, Monday, August 14, 2023.
In addition, Strong said that Prabowo was a loyal figure to Jokowi. According to him, this is the reason his party believes Prabowo can continue Jokowi’s baton.
“This has been proven several times (Prabowo) told us that we and our body and soul will continue Pak Jokowi’s programs,” said Strong.

Encourage Gibran to accompany Prabowo
Furthermore, Strong said that Prabowo’s acceptance in the community was very positive so that his electability increased significantly. Therefore, his party encouraged Gibran to accompany Prabowo as a presidential candidate.
“We also encourage Mas Gibran to accompany you to become a vice presidential candidate because he represents millennials, Gen Z and the results of the survey, from 1.7 percent to 2.2 percent and finally the results of the SPIN survey, 47.7 percent of respondents would vote for Mas. Gibran become Prabowo’s running mate,” said Strong.
In line with the plan to attract millennial and Gen Z voices, Strong said that his party would work with the Prabowo Digital Team (PRIDE) Volunteers. The group of volunteers will demolish campaigns through social media and even utilize artificial intelligence or AI to big data to develop strategies.
Strong invite volunteers Prabowo others to campaign by staying away from hoaxes and identity politics. He said the 2024 Election needed to be run coolly, happily and enthusiastically.
