Pamplona organizes 10 open-air concerts to support the circuit of small and large-capacity venues | Radio Pamplona

He Pamplona City Council has organized 10 outdoor concerts in various squares of the city to enhance and support the circuit they usually organize rooms of small and large capacity of the city. The performances will be held on Wednesdays in summer at eight o’clock in the afternoon between July 22 and on September 23 with free entry to the Plaza de los Burgos, the Fortín de San Bartolomé moats, the Compañía square, the Plaza de la O, Taconera, Jito Alai, the San José square and the Citadel Pit.

He Culture and Equality Area It has made the contracts in coordination with hospitality establishments that usually organize concerts in their spaces, so that the rooms have proposed a band according to their programming style in a corner of the city. The first group to go on stage will be Lin Cortes and they will follow Andrea Santiago, Track Dogs, Kaballah, Burutik, Juarez, Anari, Los Tiki Phantoms, NoisAlive and Califato.

Most of the contracts have been made with local entertainment agencies or with the same Navarrese bands. In this way, local artists are also supported. The cycle is aimed at all types of audiences since the styles of the groups are varied, from new flamenco to flamenco-electronic through pop rock, folk rock, dark rock, fusion music in Basque, indie, alternative rock in Basque, surf rock and heavy.

The rooms that participate in the initiative are Central, Carbonera, Toki Leza, Infernu, Garazi, Txintxarri, Nébula, Cavas, Krawill and Indara. The concerts have been organized in wide open spaces located near the room that each day sponsors the performance and is in charge of prepare and serve a catering bar for the public that comes to see the shows. Admission will be free until full capacity is reached and spectators will be seated.

The implementation of this new cycle is motivated by sanitary restrictions, capacity limitations in the closed spaces and the difficulty that venues have in meeting the expenses of organizing a concert. Taking all this into account, it has been decided to return to the origins of musical activity: the street.

The cycle will begin on July 22, at eight in the afternoon, with a performance by Lin Cortes in the Plaza de los Burgos sponsored by the Zentral room.
