Pamela Salem, actress known for James Bond role, dies at 80 – Cause of death unknown

MADRID, (CultureLeisure). -Pamela Salem, actress known for her role as Moneypenny in the James Bond film Never Say Never Again, died. The interpreter was 80 years old.

As revealed by Big Finish Productions, Salem passed away last Wednesday, February 21. At the moment the causes of his death have not been revealed.

Born in 1944 in India, Salem attended the University of Heidelberg in Germany and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, before entering the world of theatre. Her first on-screen work came in 1969, when she participated in an episode of Happy Ever After. The artist appeared in productions such as Blake’s Seven, General Hospital or The Professionals until 1983 when she signed on for Never Say Never Again, a film directed by Irvin Kershner in which she shared shots with the James Bond of that time, Sean Connery. Salem had previously worked with Connery in a 1978 film titled The First Great Train Robbery and directed by Michael Crichton.
