The diputada Pamela Jiles (PH) launched with everything against Javier Macaya (UDI) at the Chilevisión morning “Contigo en la Mañana”, for the project to withdraw 10% of AFP funds.
Jiles, who supports the project, ironically maintained that “it is evident that the Government did not set the pace for the announcements, they have not yet made the announcements of President Larroulet, by his spokesman Sebastián Piñera.”
“To whom we specifically owe this project, it is to a man named Matías Walker, a militant DC from a right-wing family, who was the one who put the project on the table, because it was the only possible solution. I would like to say to Javier, If you are not ashamed not to have voted in favor, nor are you ashamed to go into Miss Juanita’s pocket, are you not ashamed of what will happen, regarding the dirty moves of the Government, if tomorrow this is not approved“said the parliamentarian.
And it was time for Macaya’s response. “What I am ashamed of is lowering the level of the debates, I am not going to answer Pamela Jiles,” she said first, but then she cheered up and did lash out: “I would have been ashamed to dance when thousands of Chileans had a hard time“, hinting at the celebration that some deputies had after the last approval.
