Verdão is already planning the team for 2024
‘Globo Esporte’ reports this Saturday in Brazil that Abel Ferreira’s Palmeiras want to reinforce the team for 2024 with Carlos Vinícius, a former Benfica striker who is currently coached by Marco Silva at Fulham, in the Premier League.
According to that publication, the São Paulo club has already had exploratory conversations with the Brazilian footballer’s agents, but no concrete proposals have yet been presented.
Remember that Vinícius played in Palmeiras’ youth ranks, where he went from central defender to striker, before being released. “Marcos Valadares asked me if I wanted a chance to play as a striker. I immediately accepted and responded. Thank God things went well for me, I scored goals, I did everything he asked”, said the player in an interview with ‘ Globo Esporte’, in 2019.
