“Palma’s Neighborhood Festival: A Playful Protest Reminder for Local Needs”

In addition, at 11:00 a.m. there will also be exhibitions of the associations of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Palma and of citizen platforms and entities, as well as chess activities organized by the Balearic Islands Chess Players Association, with a rapid game tournament and simultaneous chess games.

From 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the Castell de Bellver grounds, there will be passes every 15 minutes in which they will be carried out monologues with relevant characters from the history of the Castell, and at 12:00 noon, in the inner courtyard, there will be a concert by the Choir of Son Dameto.

On the esplanade of the car park, also from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., there will be a wide range of proposals aimed at the little ones, such as children’s games, the Circ Bover show ‘Soc el teu àngel de guarda?’, ecological carousels, ‘tir de fona’, and two new EMT buses that can be visited inside. Likewise, at this time the Palma Mounted Police will hold an open day in the stables it has in the Bellver Castle grounds and will also organize a children’s traffic park.

At 3:00 p.m. there will be line dance and at 4:00 p.m. a popular dance with Sedac. In addition, at 1:30 p.m. there will be the traditional Angel walk, which will start and end on the stairs of the Castell.

During this day, the Municipal Transport Company (EMT) of Palma will put up a free shuttle bus service for all those people who want to go up to the Castell, which will have a frequency of approximately ten minutes from 10:30 in the morning to 5:00 p.m. and will leave Camilo José Cela street.
