Vaccination center Pallieterland in Lier has already put 67,723 covid vaccines. More than 9,000 invitations for the week of June 21 have been sent out.

“We are now at birth year 1990 and some residents of birth year 1991 have even been invited. In the week of June 14, we vaccinate from Monday to Saturday, each time from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. In the week of June 21, that is 4 days, from Wednesday to Saturday, “says acting mayor Rik Verwaest (N-VA).
“Of 18- to 64-year-olds, nearly 47% received at least one dose and nearly 17% are fully vaccinated. More than 95% of the over-65s received at least one dose and more than 63% are fully vaccinated. That means we are still around the Flemish average.” (cvr)
