The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that the Palestinian death toll had risen to 6,546 as a result of Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip 19 days ago.
The Ministry said, in a statement, that among the dead were 2,704 children, 1,584 women, and 364 elderly people, in addition to 17,439 citizens sustaining various injuries since the seventh of this month.
The ministry accused the Israeli army of committing 44 “massacres in the past hours that claimed the lives of 756 martyrs, including 344 children, in addition to injuring 1,142 citizens with various injuries.”
She said, “The Israeli occupation committed 688 massacres against families, claiming 4,807 martyrs, and twice that is still under the rubble.”
She added, “We received 1,600 reports of missing persons, including 900 children still under the rubble.”
