Palestinian Artist Eliana Makes History by Singing on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Coachella Stage

3 days ago, the Palestinian artist Eliana achieved a historic feat by singing in Arabic on Stephen Colbert’s The Late Show, and she presented the song “Tamli Maak” by Amr Diab mixed with the foreign version her Callin’ U, as well as the original song “Mama A”.

This was not the first time that Ileana made history, because in 2023, she was the first Arab to sing on the stage of Coachella, the biggest music festival.

Eliana was born in Nazareth, Palestine, and grew up in an artistic family.

Ileana moved to California, United States, in 2017, where she was 15 years old, to succeed in her career as a singer, after her family discovered her talent.

Her brother Firas discovered her talent when she sang a song for Adele, and she surprised him in a strange way, so he called his mother to hear it for herself, and since then Eliana has stopped singing.

Eliana said that she spoke to her father the other day, while they were in Palestine, about the Lebanese business manager Wassim Salibi, and about her desire to work with him, because he works with -successful artists such as The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Bebe Rexha and others, and she actually achieved that and started working for Eliana with Wissam.

Eliana released her first album last April, called “Born,” which includes the songs “Jenni,” “Al-Sham,” “Mama Leh,” and “Be Yourself.”

Eliana sang at the El Gouna Film Festival last year in her sixth session and performed the song Olive Branch on stage.
