The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates denounced this Wednesday the attack by Israeli settlers against two Jordanian convoys heading to the Gaza Strip.
In a statement sent to Xinhua, the ministry criticized Israel’s insistence on blocking aid from entering Gaza and preventing it from reaching those who need it.
He also accused the Israeli right wing and its sympathizers of defying international peace efforts and using hunger as a weapon of war to kill Palestinian civilians.
Providing safe corridors for the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip is a legal and moral obligation on Israel’s part, said the statement, which called for international efforts to ensure the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza and stop the current conflict.
Earlier today, Israeli “extremists” attacked two convoys prepared by the Jordanian Hashemite Charities, in collaboration with the World Food Program and charitable groups from the United Kingdom, South Africa and the United States, as they headed to Gaza through the crossing. from Beit Hanoun, known to Israelis as the Erez crossing, and from the Kerem Shalom crossing.
The attackers threw part of the cargo into the streets, causing damage to the trucks.
