The social media world has found out that Pathan’s song ‘Besharam Rangam’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone is similar to Pakistani singer Sajjad Ali’s old song ‘Ab Ke Hum Bichare’. A few days ago, Sajjad Ali revealed through a social media video that she remembered the old song of him after listening to a song recently.
Sajjad Ali only said that he recently heard a track very similar to his song. He didn’t reveal the name of the song. But many people came later pointing out that the singer was referring to the song in Pathan. Sajjad Ali also sang the song “Ab Ke Hum Bichare” for the fans.
‘I was listening to songs from some new movies on YouTube. When I heard a song, I was reminded of one of my songs from a quarter of a century ago. Sajjad Ali sang the song saying “Let me sing it for you”. Instantly, the audience commented that it looked like a ‘Besharam scene’. But there are also comments that this song sounds like Kisi Nassar, Ragabhairavi and is a ghazal of legendary Mehdi Hasan Saab.
Pathan’s “Besharam Rangam” has been a controversial song since its release. The main attraction of the song is the emotional dance of Shahrukh and Deepika. Deepika wore a saffron bikini and there was a nationwide outcry claiming that she had offended religious sentiments.
Madhya Pradesh home minister Narottam Mishra responded that Deepika’s dress was questionable and the song was shot from a “dirty mood”. Veer Shivaji members protested by burning the effigies of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. They are demanding that the song ‘Beshram Rang’ hurt the feelings of Hindus and that the film should not be released.
The song “Besharam Rang” is composed by Shilpa Rao, Caralisa Monterio, Vishal and Shekhar. The tune was composed by Vishal and Shekhar. ‘Pathan’ is a film directed by Siddharth Anand. John Abraham plays the villain in the film. The film will be released on January 25th.
