Pakistan rejects US report on human rights

Web Desk: Pakistan has rejected the ongoing report of the US Department of State regarding human rights violations, calling it biased.
Pakistan has categorically rejected the 2023 report on human rights issued by the US State Department, calling it contrary to facts, unfair and baseless.
Spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that the biased report released by the US is based on assumptions and contains statements contrary to the facts.
Pakistan also expressed surprise that the US report ignored the violations in Gaza and Occupied Kashmir.
It has been said in the statement that the release of such reports by the US is due to the lack of objectivity of the international agenda, in which the double standard has been refined, which harms human rights at the global level as well.
In the statement, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that the massacre and genocide of more than 33,000 civilians in Gaza was not only ignored, but the silence of the US on these crimes is also raising questions about human rights.
The declaration has made it clear that Pakistan is committed to strengthening the human rights framework and fully complying with international laws in accordance with democratic ethos.
