Islamabad: It is reported that due to the increase in inflation in Pakistan, the poor people are not even able to find food. All low income families are unable to afford even food.

Inflation increased by 0.96 percent this week alone. According to the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the annual increase is 45.64 percent. 28 Prices of essential commodities have risen sharply. But the cost of only 11 essential items is minimal.

Most of the low-income families are starving. The World Food Program said yesterday that hunger is generally changing. According to the World Food Program, it affects children the most. Hunger can seriously affect the physical and health development of children.

Many have lost their jobs and are struggling to meet their daily needs, including food, due to inflation. The other day, a man tried to commit suicide by mixing poison in his wife and two girls’ drinks. A daughter died. Others are being treated in hospital. Many people have attempted suicide in this way.

The debt-ridden government has not yet been able to deal with problems such as food shortages. Experts say that none of the successive governments have thought about food security and this has led to severe food shortages in the country.
