SYDNEY – Pakistan crumble in David Warner’s final Test. They lost their openers before the runs and are reeling at 117 for five. Abdullah Shafiq was dismissed by Mitchell Starc in the second ball. Saim Ayyub, who replaced Imamul Haq as the Test opener, was also sent back by Josh Hazelwood in the second ball.
Captain Shan Masood (35) and former skipper Babar Azam (26) signaled a comeback, but Mitchell Marsh and captain Pat Cummins spelled their end. Soud Shakil (5) was also dismissed by Cummins. In the previous over, Cummins’ ball hit Shakeel’s shoulder. Mohammad Rizwan (49 not out) is struggling. Pakistan had lost the first two Tests.
