Pakistan and Iran’s decision to ban terrorist organizations

Web Desk: Pakistan and Iran have taken a principled decision to ban terrorist organizations and waive the fines of prisoners in jails.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi had a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Dr. Ahmed Wahidi and Iranian Law Minister Amin Hussain Rahimi in which security cooperation, anti-terrorism, smuggling, border management were discussed.
In the meeting, various issues including facilities for Pakistani pilgrims and exchange of prisoners were discussed.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the Iranian President’s visit to Pakistan is very important in terms of bilateral relations, the Pakistani nation warmly welcomes the Iranian President and his delegation to Pakistan.
In the important meeting, both countries took a principled decision to ban terrorist organizations while agreeing that terrorism is a common problem of both countries which can be tackled together.
The two leaders also discussed improving mutual support and exchanging intelligence information to end terrorism and signing a security agreement between the two countries as soon as possible while providing all possible facilities to Pakistani pilgrims on the occasion of Arbaeen. It was also decided to do.
It was agreed in the meeting that joint initiatives will ensure the provision of best facilities to the visitors.
The Iranian Interior Minister invited the Pakistani counterpart to visit Iran and said that the Iraqi counterpart will also be invited on this occasion. Mohsin Naqvi thanked the counterpart for visiting Iran.
Pakistan and Iran decided to enhance cooperation in border management, smuggling and prevention of drug trafficking and also agreed to activate border markets on both sides as soon as possible.
The Iranian Interior Minister admitted that Pakistan has done an excellent job in border fencing. He said that Pak-Iran relations are based on historical, cultural and religious basis.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan attaches great importance to fraternal relations with Iran and is keen to advance mutual cooperation.
