Pakistan and China agree to increase cooperation on CPEC projects

Web Desk: Pakistan and China have agreed to further enhance and upgrade cooperation on CPEC projects.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Zeng Jianbang met on the sidelines of the OIC conference in Gambia.
The Foreign Office said the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening their ties through closer economic cooperation for mutual benefit.
The two sides also reaffirmed the enduring cooperative partnership between Pakistan and China and discussed increasing exchanges between the Parliament of Pakistan and the National People’s Congress of China.
The statement said that during the meeting, both countries expressed their determination to further expand and strengthen cooperation on CPEC projects.
He also spoke about China’s growing relationship with the OIC and emphasized the importance of dialogue and understanding for common peace and prosperity.
Ishaq Dar reiterated Pakistan’s strong support in China’s core issues and emphasized the importance of enhancing mutual productive ties through closer economic cooperation.
Meanwhile, Jianbang reiterated China’s support for Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and development.
