A truck loaded with sand it overturned and hit the Pajero car on Jalan Raya Transyogi, Cinggis District, Depok City, West Java. The Pajero car is known for being military service car.
“The Pajero TNI official car was badly damaged,” Depok Metropolitan Police AKBP Bonifacius traffic unit chief said on Friday (12/23/2022).
The incident occurred this morning at 05.30 WIB. Officers are currently cleaning up the remains of the crash.
“The sand is cleaned, hopefully after cleaning it runs smoothly,” he said.
Traffic in that place he had suffocated. This is because previously three lanes were used, now only one lane can be used.
“There was a queue of about 200m, efforts were made to shelve the load and the crane was pulled,” Boni said.
The accident started when the truck was traveling from north to south. The truck is in the far right lane of the road.
“Coming into the Shell gas station roundabout, at the same time the official TNI Pajero car came from the same direction into the center lane to make a U-turn,” he added.
At that time, the distance between the two vehicles was very small. The truck driver tried to avoid the collision by braking.
“But it couldn’t be controlled, the driver finally swerved to the right,” he said.
