Painting exhibition by French artist of Vietnamese origin opens in Ho Chi Minh City | Culture-Sport

Hanoi (VNA)- The art exhibition “Dream” by Vietnamese-born French painter Vincent Monluc has opened in the Thao Dien neighborhood of District 2 of Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibition has almost 100 works in watercolor and oil, created by Monluc as a result of his return and travels throughout the country during the last five years.

Sharing on the topic of expositionMonluc said that Vietnam always brings him great emotions and expressed his desire to explore the country through the art of painting.

Through brushstrokes that describe the country’s four-season natural landscapes and the activities of local people, each Monluc painting represents love for their homeland.

Born in Vietnam in 1952, Monluc moved to France and graduated from the National School of Decorative Arts. In 1978, this painter received the CAPES Visual Arts Contest prize.

As planned, the exhibition will remain open until January 20th./.
